Why I Chose TCU:

Although cliche, I fell in love with TCU at first glance when coming here for a volleyball camp a month before my freshman year of high school. Living on campus for three days, innocently imagining myself as a "mature" eighteen-year-old college student, was a feeling I thought would dim after leaving campus that weekend in July of 2016; however, my passion for TCU has only become more fiery after countless Destination TCU tours and prolonged chats with my admissions counselor. Even though I could envision myself as a student here, I could not fathom the emotional support and borderline familial connections I have made with my fellow horned frogs. I chose TCU because it stole my heart, but my love for this university will surpass my academic tenure here in light of the amazing friends, faculty, and staff that also fell head over heels for the purple and white

Plans After Graduation:

After graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from TCU, I hope to work in emergency care for one to two years to gain the experience needed before entering the Doctorate of Nursing Practice of Anesthesia program here at TCU. My experience as a Horned Frog has been impeccable, and I hope to continue my education to reach my goal of being a certified, registered nurse anesthetist. Although my academic goals are the focal point of the future I imagine for myself, I hope to find time to enrich myself through travelling, continuing my philanthropy work of fostering dogs, and finding a place in the world (whether Louisiana, Texas, or across the globe) that feels like home. Ultimately, my pursuit of being an ethical leader and responsible citizen in the global community is something I will be chasing for much longer than the four, short years I have as an undergraduate student.
