Juliana Shoun

I chose TCU because it felt familiar and welcoming- despite being 700 miles away from home. I wanted to attend a small school- but not too small. And TCU, as Goldilocks would say, was "just right." Its campus was beautiful and bustling; there was always a way to get involved. I knew I could find my place and create a supportive network of friends within its walls.

After graduation, I want to pursue a career in the criminal justice field as an activist, advocate, or servant. I hope to become involved in nonprofit organizations or law enforcement to push for change in our inherently broken system. I want to aid in healing the wounds the criminal justice system has left on many marginalized communities.
