I chose TCU not only because of the generous financial aid package offered, but because of the sense of community and warmth TCU provides to new students. Touring TCU, I fell in love with the friendliness of all the students as well as the sense of belonging I gained during my short time here. At TCU, I believe that I am able to represent my true self and have a supportive community that loves me for it.

After completing my undergraduate studies and medical school, I intend to become a pediatrician. My pursuits are subject to change but for now, I am interested in any career within the medical field that affords a sufficient work-life balance; however, I do like working with children. In the event that I opt to forgo medical school and obtain a PhD instead, I would want to become either a professor or researcher within the biological or chemical sciences (and who knows - it may even be within a mathematical field).
