Why I Chose TCU:

Coming from a remote island in Alaska, I desired to find a university that would offer me more opportunities for academic growth and career development. As an aspiring nurse, I sought to find a nursing program that would give me quality preparation to become a compassionate and established future nurse; the nursing program at TCU has an exceptional reputation, high NCLEX pass rate, and high acceptance rate to graduate school. After my first time visiting TCU, I was introduced to Heath Einstein, the Dean of Admission. He made me feel extremely valued, wanted, and encouraged. I could tell then that TCU could be my future home. The faculty and staff foster a community of support and friendship that inspires me daily. I knew that was something I wanted to be a part of- the horned frog family.

Plans After Graduation:

After I graduate from the nursing program at TCU, I plan to pursue a doctorate as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a specialty certificate in pediatrics. Upon completion of graduate school, I would like to partner with medial mission organizations and serve those who are suffering in underserved countries across the globe. The blessing of my education at TCU is a gift that I want to share with as many people as possible, offering them the same kindness and support that TCU has given me.
