Greetings from Fort Worth!

Texas Christian University’s Chancellor’s Scholars Program affords talented, accomplished Horned Frogs the opportunity to realize their full potential. The Chancellor’s Scholarship is the most prestigious, valuable academic award offered at TCU. Since the inception of the program, we have supported many students throughout their collegiate experience, and have seen them become proud TCU alumni.

The four-year value of the award to each of the scholarship recipients is more than $170,680, and totals $9.6 million for all 249 Chancellor’s Scholars. Our University aims to preserve the tradition of a holistic development with respect to this community of learners. Hence, the reason we have a very diverse, dynamic, and distinguished group.

Our mission: To educate individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community.

It is apparent that the Chancellor’s Scholars have embraced the mission and understand the value of their contributions. I’m confident they have the ability to discern how their academic and personal qualities can translate into success and how the positive results directly benefit the world around us.

The beauty of Chancellor’s Scholars is that it’s reciprocal in nature. Not only do we invest in the Scholars, but they also provide so much to the institution. The students’ thirst for knowledge, desire to broaden their horizons, and willingness to serve are but a few reasons why I’m confident the Chancellor’s Scholars Program has a bright future.
