Why I Chose TCU:

While still waiting for other universities to release decision letters, TCU had already accepted me, told me I was a Chancellor's Scholar finalist, and invited me to apply to the John V. Roach Honors College. After visiting campus during the Chancellor's Scholar weekend to interview for the scholarship, I loved how the community felt personal and that everyone was so friendly. Even if I was not chosen to be a recipient of the scholarship, I still would have accepted my position here at TCU. I felt that TCU wanted me to be here while every other university was still deciding if I was good enough to attend. Although the scholarships definitely helped, the inclusiveness, the feeling of joining a family instead of another school, ultimately pushed me to join the 2024 class of TCU.

Plans After Graduation:

After graduation, I plan to use some future connections I will make at TCU to work my way up to a Senator in the federal government. I plan on starting in an entry-level position, joining a campaign staff or even throwing my hat into the ring of the state-level legislature, before climbing the ladder in the federal government. My plans may change, however, and if my ultimate goal does shift while attending TCU, as long as I am still able to help and positively impact others in my new interest, then I will be happy.
