Why I Chose TCU:
I chose Texas Christian University for a multitude of compelling reasons. From the moment I set foot on campus for the Chancellor's Scholars Weekend, I felt an immediate sense of belonging within the vibrant school community. TCU's warm and welcoming atmosphere struck a chord with me, making me confident that this was where I wanted to pursue my education. Moreover, the abundance of resources available to students at TCU is truly exceptional. The state-of-the-art facilities, well-equipped libraries, and dedicated faculty demonstrate the institution's commitment to providing an environment conducive to academic excellence. As an international student, the prospect of being embraced and supported by the TCU community was also paramount in my decision-making process. TCU goes above and beyond in its efforts to integrate students from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates global perspectives. This aspect solidified my belief that TCU is not just a place of learning, but a home away from home where I can thrive both academically and personally.
Plans After Graduation:
Currently, I am pursuing a double major in Business Information Systems and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Asian Studies. After graduation, my ambition is to immerse myself in the dynamic realm of the business field. I believe that hands-on experience is invaluable, and working in established enterprises will provide me with a wealth of knowledge and insight into the intricate workings of the industry. With time, I aspire to leverage this expertise and embark on an entrepreneurial journey of my own. Ultimately, I envision contributing to the progress and prosperity of my home country, Honduras. I am driven by a deep-seated desire to play a part in fostering economic growth and creating opportunities that can lead to positive change. By establishing and nurturing businesses, I hope to make a tangible impact on the socio-economic landscape, ultimately leaving a lasting legacy for the betterment of my country and its people.
