Why I Chose TCU:

When deciding what college to attend, I knew I wanted to experience something new and go somewhere outside of the Midwest. I visited TCU on a suggestion from my college counselor and instantly fell in love with the school. TCU offered a community of kindhearted students who made the school feel like a home to me. I also found a place where I felt like I could experience so many new things, especially since I would be living in a state far from where I have lived my whole life. The cherry on top was when I realized that TCU also offered the benefits of a small college education with interactive classes that were not overcrowded while at the same time offering all the benefits of a major state university like D1 sports and high-quality education that helped students become deeply connected to Dallas and Fort Worth.

Plans After Graduation:

I currently do not have a set plan for what I intend to do after graduation, but I have a vague idea of what I want to pursue. In the short time following graduation, I want to go into investment banking, use my finance degree, and see what life is like in the banking industry. However, in the long run, I want to open a financial advising firm in which I aim to assist those of lower incomes who often receive less financial advice than higher income levels. The main reason for this is the inability of people to pay the high expenses of most firms. I want to operate an affordable firm for all people to provide them with crucial financial advice that can significantly impact their lives.
