Why I Chose TCU:
There are a lot of reasons why I chose TCU. I love the strong school spirit of TCU. The school makes an effort to make students feel at home and like a member of the horned frog family. I felt that during Frog Camp and Frogs First. When applying, I also loved the low teacher-to-student ratio. Students can have relationships with their professors and are given more individual attention. I knew that was something I wanted and needed to be as successful in my classes as possible. Next, I appreciate that efficiency, organization, and constant improvement are valued at TCU. TCU truly cares about its students and strives to make our experiences better.
Furthermore, as a musical theatre major, I loved the energy and encouragement of the TCU professors I met during my college audition. When I visited the school, I even spent 30 minutes talking to my department head, and she walked me through the curriculum and kindly answered all my questions. I felt then that the professors here truly have a heart to help us as best they can. Through the Chancellor's Scholarship, I felt that TCU wanted me, and after a long year of college auditions, I found that I also wanted to be at TCU. I am glad that I made the right choice.
Plans After Graduation:
I hope to be a working musical theatre actress and singer. I want to work on Broadway, do national tours, do international tours, work in regional theaters, and also work back home in South Korea. Furthermore, I want to sing and write songs for Korean and Chinese Drama official soundtracks and write and sing Christian music.
