Gabriel McCarthy

For me, TCU was always one of my major options for college. I did research at TCU before my college application, which drove me to pursue what opportunities were available at TCU. As a result, I really liked the research opportunities in the Physics department, leading me to pursue an education here. Additionally, TCU was the most financially reasonable place among the places I applied to making it the overall best fit.

My current plans after graduation are to pursue an education in a graduate program. I wish to become a Physicist one day and do research and maybe teach. As a result, I must attend graduate school after getting my undergraduate degree if I truly want to pursue those goals to the furthest extent. Ideally, I can work in a research laboratory or as a professor at a university one day.
