Why I Chose TCU:

In all honesty, I chose TCU largely as a result of my scholarship. However, now that I am almost halfway through my first semester, I can say with 100% certainty that I was meant to end up here. TCU feels like home! I love everything about it! The academics, the campus-life, the extracurriculars, the community, the social scene; I truly couldn't be happier. I feel so inspired by my peers and their passions, and it is both my greatest honor and my greatest privilege to be associated with such an outstanding group of individuals (shoutout to the Class of 2027 Chancellor's Scholars)! I feel like I am always learning, encouraged by both my professors and my classmates (as well as motivated by their work-ethic) in my own personal exploration and academic endeavors. I couldn't love TCU more if I tried!

Plans After Graduation:

I plan to attend law school immediately after graduation. As a lawyer, I intend to specialize in cases of sexual assault/sex trafficking, working primarily with young women/girls and children. I feel it to be my duty to advocate for those who are otherwise unable to do so for themselves. I want to enact real change! It is also my dream to work as a teacher abroad (ideally in a more impoverished region of South America, Latin America, or Spain), in which I am able to teach at the kindergarten level. I plan to do both!
