Lauren Herrington

I chose TCU because of the contagious sense of pride I felt as soon as I stepped on campus. Everyone I met was proud to be a horned frog and wanted to show me how I could succeed at TCU. I was also intrigued by the balance between excellent academic programs and a fun student experience. The beautiful campus, one-on-one support, and incredible resources at TCU made it an easy choice.

After graduation, I plan to attend medical school and become a doctor. I don't know what specialty I would like to pursue yet, and I'm sure my interests will change as I navigate medical school and residency. I am interested in pediatrics, however, and hope that wherever I end up, I will be able to use my life experiences and love for science to help people through medicine.
