Why I Chose TCU:

I chose TCU because of the community and academic resources. The TCU and Fort Worth community as a whole is something that no other university can match. I really came to know the culture over the Chancellor's Scholars Weekend. During that weekend, I got to see the friendship and unity between the current scholars despite their diverse backgrounds. When selecting my university, I knew I wanted to be in a big city where the opportunities for jobs and internships are endless, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area is just that. I am able to use the plethora of resources on TCU's campus to my advantage in a job market that values the quality of TCU students. The TCU faculty truly want their students to succeed, and this is reflected in every academic field on campus. I am so ecstatic and thankful I chose TCU, and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to be a Chancellor's Scholar.

Plans After Graduation:

After graduating with a degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science, I plan to continue working in the actuarial field in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I will continue to take actuarial exams and complete my goal of becoming a fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
