Why I Chose TCU:
I chose TCU because of the opportunity to have a well-rounded campus experience. After my tour, I knew I would be able to focus on academics while still being a part of many different campus organizations. I know I made the right decision now that I have been at TCU for a few months. For academics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my classes for my major and even the classes that I take for my Core Curriculum. As for the organizations, just as a freshman, I am lucky to be a part of 5 clubs and Greek Life. I knew when applying I wanted to be in a place where I could "do it all," and TCU is that place!
Plans After Graduation:
My plan after graduation is to go to medical school. My life goal is to become a physician and dedicate a few weeks out of the year to go to the Philippines and use my position to help the struggling communities. This plan is not original but a continuation of what my grandmother dedicated her life to. She has been practicing as a pediatrician her entire adult life and devoted her Summer breaks to traveling to the Philippines to do philanthropic work. She has always inspired me, and I cannot wait to work hard to follow in her footsteps.
