Why I Chose TCU:

Having a former TCU football player for a grandfather, I grew up a horned frog by blood. I was born into a TCU family, and my childhood was filled with TCU football on the TV, playing with TCU dominoes, and an entire wardrobe of purple and white. When I entered high school, however, I had my mind set on finding my college home outside my immediate metroplex. But when I received the news that I was a Chancellor’s Scholar finalist, I decided to explore TCU on my own, disregarding my horned frog upbringing. After visiting the school in its entirety, beyond the football stadium, and learning of its excellent Economics and Film programs, it was a no-brainer for me. I knew I would feel at home on campus, but after receiving the tremendous honor of being accepted as a Chancellor’s Scholar, I felt wanted by TCU. Having completed my first year, I do not doubt this school is where I belong.

Plans After Graduation:

I plan to travel as much as possible after graduating and ultimately pursue either law school or my passion for filmmaking.
