Tyler Grijalva

Tyler is a senior political science major from El Paso, Texas.  He is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and is also a part of the Chancellor’s Scholars Program. Tyler is President of the Political Science Distinction program and is a Class of 2020 Student Government Representatives. After graduation, he plans to return home to El Paso to take a senior staff position on a city council campaign.

 

 

 

 

 

Kayla Thomas

Kayla is a sophomore biology and child development major from New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a member of the John V. Roach Honors college and is also a part of the STEM Scholars Program. Kayla is active in the Black Student Association and the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students. She has also founded a mentoring program named Molding Melanin Magic for minority students at TCU who wish to pursue a career in the STEM field. After graduation, she plans on attending medical school and becoming a pediatrician.
